Whole Wings
Whole wings will contain 8-10 primary feathers and approximately 12 secondary feathers (barred rounds) and many smaller feathers. Most wings will have an overall length of at least 24 inches. All wings will have the bone removed and be treated with borax. They will be dried. Wings that have bones intact either green or dried are available upon request. Contact us for pricing.



Primary Wings
Primary wings will contain 8-10 primaries depending on the age of the turkey. They will be treated with borax and dried. Primary wings are approximately 18 inches long and 10 inches wide.

Secondary Wings
Secondary wings will contain approximately 12 barred rounds and many smaller feathers. They are treated with borax and dried. The secondary wing will measure approximately 14 inches in length and 10 inches in width.



Secondary Wing Feathers
Secondary wing feathers a.k.a barred rounds will range in their overall length from 10 to 15 inches. The longest and nicest shaped feathers will be #1 grade while feathers that are smaller and/or the feathers that are longer but flawed slightly will be what is commonly found in the #2 grade.



Barred Leaves
Barred Leaves are the high contast black and white feather that resemble the size and shape of a leaf. They are found on the primary portion of the wing. Barred leaves range in length from approximately 4 inches to as long as 6 inches.



Miniature Wings
Miniature wings are a tuft of about 4 feathers that will remind you of a turkey wing by it's shape. They are located at the leading edge of the primary portion of the wing. They arte approximately 6 inches in length.



Tail Fans
Tail fans will contain 18 large feathers, a row of pre-tail feathers, a few bronze flats on the front of the fan and herls on the back portion of the fan. They are treated with borax and are spread and dried. Tail fans that are not spread and/or fresh frozen are also available. Please contact us for pricing.



Tail Feathers
Tail feathers will primarily be 14-16 inches for the # 1 grade. The # 2 grade will contain shorter tail feathers and longer feathers that have slight to moderate flaws.



Pre-Tail Skirts
Pre-tail skirt feathers lie next to the large feathers on the tail of the turkey. They will range in length from 4 to 10 inches.



Bronze Flats
Bronze flats have a unmistakeable bronze irridescent band at the top of it's fluffy body. These feathers lie next to the pre-trail skirt feathers on the tail and will range in overall length from 4 to 8 inches depending on the age and size of the turkey they come from. There are approximately 125 feathers in an ounce of bronze flats.



T-Flats
T-flats are very dark in color with the width being slightly more narrow and length very comparable to that of the bronze flat. There are approximately 175 feathers in an ounce of t-flats.



Flank Feathers
Flank feathers are very fluffy in nature and will contain various shapes and sizes of feathers. These feathers contain very nice color. There are approximately 150 feathers in an ounce of flank feathers.



Breast Feathers
Breast feathers are a considerably shorter feather that have a very nice irridescent sheen. They will have an overall length of about 4 inches. There are approximately 175 feathers in an ounce of breast feathers.



Herls
Herls are a very fluffy, spindly feather that is located at the rear of the turkey. They will range in length from 4 to as much as 10 inches. There are approximately 150 feathers in an ounce of herls.



Mixed Body Plumage
Mixed body feathers contain a mix of breast feathers, flank feathers, t-flats, bronze flats and herls. There are approximately 150 feathers in an ounce of mixed body plumage.



Wing Trimmings
Wing trimmings are the feathers that are remaining from the secondary wing when the barred rounds are removed. There are approximately 1000 feathers in a pound of wing trimmings.



Beards
Beards are in good shape with no loose strands. Other size beards are available upon request.



Painted Feather
Our painted feathers are by artist Dan Miller from Munfordville, Kentucky. Each feather is dated, numbered and signed by the artist. They are matted and framed with the highest quality of materials.



Primary Wing Feathers
Primary wing feathers from the wild turkey have an unmistakeable naturally barred pattern that man cannot equal with the faux barred or any other immitation on the market today. These are the real deal as Mother Nature intended. Available in two grades. #1 grade are what is needed if you are looking for a feather that has near perfect webbing in the heart of the feather and want feathers for arrows that you would be proud to sell. #2 grade are seconds and are suitable for stump shooting arrows,kid's arrows, flu flus, or a reproduction indian arrow where a rustic look is preferred.



Uncut Fletching
Uncut fletching or full-length is a continuous 9" or more strip of top quality and near flawless feather material that is ready to "chop" or "burn' or whatever your application may be. Only our very best quality primary wing feathers are used for this product.



Die-Cut Fletching
Die-cut fletching is available in 3",4",5" and 5.5" lengths. All die-cuts are offered in the parabolic and shield cuts with the 5.5" also coming in banana cut . Again only the highest quality primary wing feathers are used for this product.



Little Chopper
The Little Chopper is a die-cutting device that cuts full-length fletching into the desired length and shape for the do-it-yourself arrow maker. They are available in lengths of 3",4",5", and 5.5". The cuts offered are parabolic, shield, banana, and the traditional Pope & Young cut. Banana and Pope & Young cuts are offered only in the 5.5" length. There is a small amount of adjustment to the settings of the length and profile of each Little Chopper.



3 pc. Wingbone Sets
3pc. wingbone sets include the large bone (humerus) and the two smaller bones (radius and ulna) from the wing of the wild turkey. They are clean, dry and ready for the construction of wingbone calls.



2 pc. Wing Bone Sets
2 pc. wingbone sets are the 3 pc. set minus the large humerus bone.



3 Bone Yelper
The 3 bone yelper is constructed with all three bones from the wild turkey wing, the humerus, radius and ulna. Wing bone calls are not only a great locator call but can be mastered to perform soft yelps also. This model has the lanyard included.



2 Bone Yelper
The 2 bone yelper is the compact version of the 3 bone yelper.It is built with the radius and ulna bones only. This is our field model.



Wing Bone Striker
The wingbone striker is made from the humerus and radius bones. This peg will perform on slate, glass and aluminum type friction bases. This is by far our most popular model.
2 Bone Yelper
The 2 bone yelper is the compact version of the 3 bone yelper.It is built with the radius and ulna bones only. This is our field model.



Jake Tail Fan
Jake tails come from a juvenile turkey gobbler and are proportionately 25-30% smaller than that of an adult gobbler. The main characteristic of a jake tail is the middle 4-8 feathers are comparable in length and size to the adult gobbler but the remainder of the tail feathers are noticeably shorter and smaller in size.



Ringneck Pheasant Tails
Ringneck pheasant tails range in length of a maximum of 24 inches for the #1 grade to a minimum length of 12 inches for the #2 grade.



Turkey Biots
Turkey biots are the leading edge only of turkey primary wing flight feathers and the fibers are very coarse. The overall length is approximately 10 inches.



Ringneck Pheasant Pelts
Ringneck Pheasant pelts have an overall length of 30 inches or more including the tail for the #1 grade and 25 inches or less for the #2 grade with the tails ranging in length from 14 -24 inches depending on the grade.



Matched Pair Turkey Secondary Wing Feathers
Matched pair turkey secondary wing feathers have an overall length of 10-12 inches and a width of 2 1/2-3 1/2 inches. A matched pair will consist of one feather from each the right and left wing from the secondary portion of a turkey wing that are similar in size and structure.



Matched Pair Turkey Tail Feathers
Matched pair turkey tail feathers have an overall length of 11-14 inches and a width of 3-4 inches. A matched pair consists of one tail feather from each the right and left side of the turkey tail that are similar in size and structure.



Fly-Tying Combo
A fly-tying combo consists of one matched pair of turkey secondary wing feathers and one matched pair of turkey tail feathers.



Tournament Darts
Tournament darts are constructed with solid wood shafts and natural barred turkey fletchings. Each set will include 3 steel points to use with the original cork type dart boards and 3 plastic safety points to be used with the more modern electronic dart boards.
